A Prelimenary Study About Happiness At Work Of Civil Servants In DKI JAKARTA

This study is designed to describe the meaning of happiness at work and its five factors (contributions, conviction, culture, commitment, confidence) by Jones (2010) for civil servants in DKI Jakarta. uses a qualitative method with purposive sampling technic. research examines participants various background. Four come from Directorate General Taxes other Ministry Law Human Rights. Two are female three male age range 28 58 years. Data were collected over ten weeks period through interview, observation, triangulation coding. Each interview taken minimum 80 minutes. The results showed that was defined as positive emotion comes person who felt comfortable his environment organizational culture. Further, emotions might cause servant undergo job without depressed so s/he could actualize her/himself her/his work.
